Charlotte's Biggest Bridal Gown Sample Sale at Savvy Bride Boutique!

Our biggest sale of the year is approaching and we are almost close to selling out again! We get so many questions about this event so we are giving it the attention it deserves and laying out a whole bunch of FAQ's and insider details.

Event Details:

Nov 24th - Dec 5, Savvy Bride Boutique in Charlotte will be holding our annual White Dress, Black Friday sale. Every sample bridal gown that is located in the main showroom will be available for sale for $600 regardless of the tag price. This is an opportunity to score a $3,000 gown for only $600. Over 250 gowns will be available for purchase for only $600.

FAQ's:

1. Is every gown you carry part of the sale?

   • No - the newest collections and some of the higher-end couture gowns will not be part of the sale. They will be taken off the of the main showroom for the event, as to not confuse anyone as to what is for sale.

   
   

2. Can I know ahead of time what gowns are for sale? So for example if I tried one on earlier and I want to wait and see if it will be for sale?

   • Sometimes/maybe - if the Manager is able to determine if it will be for sure part of the sale (usually this is if the gown is discontinued) then yes. However in most instances, the list of gowns that will be for sale will not be known ahead of time.

3. What sizes are the sample gowns?

   • Savvy Bride Boutique carries gowns in sizes 6-24 with most of the sample sizes being between 10-18.

4. Why are so many gowns on sale? Is there something wrong with them?

   • The only thing wrong with this sale is the fact that you could walk out with a Designer gown for only $600! Every year, Designer's discontinue designs and from time to time the boutique will choose not to move forward with a certain Designer. In these cases, we choose to offer them at extremely discounted prices because we want to make room for new gowns. On average, the boutique purchases 200 new styles a year. Therefore, we need to be able to make room!

5. Will the gowns be cleaned prior to me buying it?

   • No, all merchandise is sold as is. We have recommended vendors for cleaning if that is the case and if you wish to do so. We keep our showroom exceptionally clean in order to protect each gown. Cleaning usually is between $150-300 depending on the dress however it is rare a gown needs to be cleaned.

6. What if there are buttons missing or a small imperfection?

   • We usually have hundreds of different buttons in our back room that we can provide, and a seamstress can attach. All gowns are sold as-is and Savvy Bride is not responsible for alterations or any costs thereafter.

7. What if I don't know what kind of gown I want?

   • This event has shorter appointment times than normal (1 hour vs. 1.5 hours). We recommend this event to brides that know what kind of dress they want to purchase. You should come with a strong idea that you are looking for a fitted, crepe, strapless gown or a lace ballgown. This will allow more time for you to relax, enjoy and have fun saying yes!

8. Can I order champagne during the appointment?

   • No, we will not be serving drinks during the appointment as our team will be solely focused on finding you a dream dress.

9. How many guests can I bring?

   • Due to number of appointments taking place, each bride can invite up to 3 besties to join.

10. What if I find a gown I love and I'm not ready to say yes?

    • We totally understand wanting it to be the absolute perfect moment! If you need to sleep on it you surely can. However, we will not be holding gowns or setting gowns aside during the event. If you leave without purchasing your gown, it may be gone by the time you return.

11. Can I walk in and just browse?

    • No, due to number of appointments already booked, it will not be possible to enter the boutique without an appointment booked.

12. Can I pay via check?

    • No, during the sale only card (except American Express) and cash will be accepted.

13. Will accessories be part of the sale?

    • Yes! Lots of accessories including jewelry and veils will be available for discount also at significantly reduced pricing.

14. If I don't find a dress, do I get my $25 appointment fee back?

    • No, all appointments booked will incur a $25 non-refundable booking fee due at time of booking.

15. If I buy a gown and decide I no longer want it can I return or exchange it?

    • All gowns are final sale and are not eligible for exchange.
